The best Christmas present

Generous Somerset Wildlife Trust members have raised more than £25,000 following our autumn appeal to protect wildlife.
The appeal received around 800 separate donations from members who have shown their support to help us protect dormice in the Mendips, cornfield flowers near Taunton and wetland wildlife in the Brue Valley.
The support members have shown is the perfect Christmas present for wildlife in Somerset and thanks go to all our supporters who have given so generously.
The appeal was for the three local projects:
- Restoring habitat for the hazel dormouse in our Cheddar and Harridge Wood reserves
- Restoring rare cornfield flower habitat at our Fivehead Arable Fields reserve, and
- Restoring wetland habitats at our Westhay Moor and Catcott reserves
Should you still wish to make a donation you can call Diane Hill on 01823-652413 or email diane.hill@somersetwildlife.org.
Thank you!
