Event Marshalling for Somerset Wildlife Trust
Donating a few hours of your time to help as an event marshal or collector, will result in substantial donations to support our work to protect and restore wildlife and wild places here in Somerset.
This is a really fun, one-off, volunteering role, though many of our volunteers come back time and time again.
Add your name to our list of event marshal volunteers so we can see if you're available to help at various events throughout the year:

It was great to be a part of a lovely local event with the added knowledge that I was also helping to raise money for Somerset Wildlife Trust. I hadn't done any stewarding before, but it was really easy to pick up what I needed to do and it was so enjoyable to meet the other volunteers. As we were outside in a field, I even managed to do a butterfly count in a quieter moment.
