About the event

Run in conjunction with Somerset Wildlife Trust's Somerset Wilder Coast project and the Sea Watch Foundation and Geckoella, this synchronised survey will be carried out at multiple locations along the Somerset and North Somerset Coast between 9.30am and 11.30am on Friday 21st March. We are also repeating the Survey on Sunday 23rd March (as we want to see if there is different activity of porpoises on weekdays and weekends.)  Please see separate event and let us know whether you want to attend one or both when you register.

No previous knowledge or training is required but we will provide people with information in advance.  If you wish to find out more about how to carry out a Sea Watch survey a YouTube Somerset SeaWatch Training Video is also available.

We are holding further Sea Watch events and training throughout 2025 – details are available on our What's On page.
