General Election 2024

Man casting his vote in an election

General Election 2024

The General Election will be held on 4th July, and it's crucial that nature's voice is heard!

The General Election is on the horizon

The upcoming election will be crucial for the future viability of life on our planet. If the existing 2030 targets, of halting nature’s decline and protecting 30% of land and sea are to be met, the next government will have to do the bulk of the work.

It’s important that when we vote, we do so with nature in mind — nature cannot vote in elections, but many of us can. We're calling upon all political parties to commit to a plan to finally halt and reverse the decline in wildlife.

Our priorities for the next UK Government

Before the big moment next month, make sure you're election ready — check out our resources below.

Spread the word

We need to make sure politicians and political parties commit to a plan in their manifestos to meet the scale of the challenge to halt nature’s decline and halve emissions by the end of the decade.

Below you’ll find downloadable posters to put up in your window to help your candidates understand just how much a healthy natural world matters to you.

Note: We've met with as many PPCs as possible to raise the urgency of acting for nature with all our potential new MPs. If we are shown in any photos with PPCs this is not an endorsement of them or their party, it simply shows we have met with them to speak up for nature
