Somerset Wildlife Trust is very pleased to welcome Foresight Funeral Plans to its corporate membership scheme. Based in the rural village of Edington, Foresight Funeral Plans offer independent prepaid funeral plan advice covering traditional funerals as well Eco and woodland funerals. Owner Nigel Broderick is also a member of the Funeral Plan Research Group, a group that monitors the market and provides members access to the leading and specialist companies providing prepaid funeral plans.
Nigel explains why he is happy to be supporting the Trust, “Before setting up Foresight, I fulfilled a dream by purchasing and re-establishing a game reserve in Kenya for endangered antelope. Having set up the reserve and successfully breeding Sable, Oribi and other species, we returned to the UK and settled in Somerset, where I have continued my passion for wildlife conservation. When loved ones pass away, we think of the next generation, so it’s important to us to support a charity that ensures that that the natural world that we love and cherish today - now under great threat - is protected for our children and grandchildren to enjoy tomorrow. Somerset Wildlife Trust does wonderful work across the county and we are proud to be supporting them in this way.”
Kirby Everett, Communications & Corporate Relations Manager comments, “We’re delighted that Foresight have joined as a member. They really do understand that to many people, including longstanding members, our reserves and the county’s amazing habitats are incredibly important places, which have given them so much joy throughout their lives alongside the wonderful wildlife that call them home. We are very grateful for their support."
