Event information
UK Velo have very kindly offered a 25% discount to those fundraising for Somerset Wildlife Trust!
Join our Team Wilder for a stunning cycle of the Somerset levels, followed by the infamous climb up the fabulous Cheddar Gorge, and passing our Longwood and Velvet Bottom nature reserves.
This fun sportive ride is about taking your time, enjoying the views and just getting in some early season cycling miles.
With 3 route options available, ensuring the cycling routes have limited climbing where possible which makes the routes an interesting mix of flat sections and stunning sportive beauty, suitable for all. The Cheddar Gorge climb is near the end of all three routes, and is a good tick for your cycling palmarès.
No matter your ability, this is a friendly and welcoming sportive, fully supported with marked routes, and mechanical and medical support.

How your fundraising helps
You'll cycle to protect and restore Somerset's wildlife and wild places!
Over half of UK species have declined since 1970, while more than one in ten are under threat and at risk of disappearing altogether - we are in an ecological and climate emergency, and your support couldn’t come at a more critical time.
By getting sponsored, you’ll help us work towards our goal of at least 30% of land and sea managed for nature by 2030, and you’ll help us fight harder to achieve our vision of a Somerset wide Nature Recovery Network. This will create more space for wildlife and nature to thrive, it will reverse the decline in species diversity, and will create resilient landscapes and habitats for wildlife (and people), that can adapt to a warming climate.
Be the champion that Somerset's wildlife needs and secure your place at the Somerset 100 today.
