Wildlife Watch

Getting outside, exploring and having fun

Our Wildlife Watch groups are for children to make friends with other nature-loving young people and have lots of fun by taking part in practical nature activities, from pond dipping to wildlife safaris

Our Wildlife Watch groups are organised and led by volunteers who know about the local places and wildlife, and are passionate about getting young people outside, exploring and having fun.

Each group has a Wildlife Watch Leader, who are at the heart of the groups and play a pivotal role in making the sessions fun and memorable. Most groups also have Wildlife Watch Helpers, who come along to the sessions, support the Leaders and help everything to run smoothly. Without these volunteers the Wildlife Trust would not be able to facilitate these sessions and provide children with the experience to explore wildlife in their local area.

We have several Wildlife Watch groups across the county, but we would love to establish more! If there isn’t a Wildlife Watch group in your area, then why not think about setting one up?
