Giving your time

Volunteering your time to raise money for Somerset Wildlife Trust is a great way to get involved in an ad-hoc way. Whatever you choose to do, every penny you raise will go towards protecting our wildlife and wild places across Somerset.

One off Event Marshals and Collectors

Currently recruiting!

Over the last few years, our amazing team of volunteer marshals have raised thousands of pounds for wildlife, and we’re excited to say, we've been accepted onto the Somerset Carnival Circuit for 2025 to help raise even more.

Do you have a few hours to spare, to volunteer as an event marshal or bucket holder? We are recruiting for the following events in 2025:

  • Nunney Street Fayre (Car park marshalling, 26 July 2025)
  • Wells Carnival (Collection volunteering, 14 November 2025)
  • Glastonbury Carnival (Collection volunteering, 15 November 2025)
