Our new Government

Although the General Election has taken place, you can still ensure nature is given the priority it deserves!

The election results are in!

Throughout the election campaign, it became clear that people know that our natural world is in crisis and want politicians to make the bold and ambitious commitments to reverse the decline.

If the existing 2030 targets, of halting nature’s decline and protecting 30% of land and sea are to be met, the government's policies must be targeted towards species recovery, addressing water pollution, funding wildlife-friendly farming, enabling healthy communities, and tackling climate change.

It's now up to the new Labour government to deliver on the clear mandate they have to respond to the major concern the public have over the state of our environment. With an explicit manifesto promise to “deliver for nature” and a public seeking action.
