What you thought

Well what can I say, what a superbly relaxed cycle ride through the stunning countryside and quite country lanes of the Levels. I met some lovely people, I didn't get lost, and I didn't need to call for "breakdown support"! The 35 miles was enough this year, I wonder if I could do the 100k next time?

FAQs

How your fundraising helps

You'll cycle to protect and restore Somerset's wildlife and wild places!

Over half of UK species have declined since 1970, while more than one in ten are under threat and at risk of disappearing altogether - we are in an ecological and climate emergency, and your support couldn’t come at a more critical time.

By getting sponsored, you’ll help us work towards our goal of at least 30% of land and sea managed for nature by 2030, and you’ll help us fight harder to achieve our vision of a Somerset wide Nature Recovery Network. This will create more space for wildlife and nature to thrive, it will reverse the decline in species diversity, and will create resilient landscapes and habitats for wildlife (and people), that can adapt to a warming climate.

Be the champion that Somerset's wildlife needs and secure your place at the Somerset 100 today.

How do I link Strava to my fundraising page?

Strava is an app that tracks your training routes and physical activity, and it can now be linked up with your fundraising page on Just Giving, to automatically share your training achievements. Share your miles, pictures, and routes to make your fundraising more fun and show just how committed you are to raising funds for wildlife.

Here's how:

  1. Download and register with Strava (if you haven’t already)
  2. Log in to your JustGiving account and view the fundraising page you wish to connect with. Scroll down and select the ‘Connect Strava’ button.
  3. Confirm the Strava permissions, and select and save your fitness settings/preferences.
  4. Track your chosen exercise in the Strava app and watch as it automatically updates on your page!
