Wilder Matters is a series of live online events from Somerset Wildlife Trust which help you get to heart of the biggest environmental topics of the day and their relevance to Somerset. Join us as we sort the myths from the facts!

Since 2023 we have covered topics such as how to vote with nature in mind at the UK election; digging down into the truth about species reintroductions; the importance of tracking species and populations for nature recovery, and the hurdles we are facing; and the issues affecting our coastal and river water quality, with particular reference to sewage and water management. These live online events invite you to hear from experts in the field, and helps break down some of the more complicated terminology surrounding these specialist areas.
