This session is run in partnership with Heads Up Wells. Heads Up work with individuals affected by mental health issues and other difficulties, in order to help them towards recovery, greater well-being and quality of life.

This is a full day session which will cover basic pond habitat assessment, species identification and restoration principles including a live demonstration to revitalise a pond for the benefit of wildlife.

Matt Collis is an ecologist and wildlife tour guide based in the South West with a broad knowledge of British habitats and its species. This event is made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
