New Somerset Wildlife Trust projects will be competing for community votes in two Tesco stores this spring as part of Tesco Stronger Starts. Visitors to the Ilminster Tesco Superstore and Langport Tesco Superstore will be able to support the following projects by casting their votes from April to June:

• Teaming up for a Wilder Langport: Engaging with local communities in Langport so that everyone has an opportunity to make new spaces for wildlife and help nature’s recovery.
• Making Marshy-Meadow Magic: Improving access to Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Bishopswood Meadows Nature Reserve to help ensure local communities are able to enjoy this special place.

The project with the highest number of votes at the end of the community voting period will receive up to £1,500.
