Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Somerset Wildlife Trust!
We depend on the support of our volunteers, who come from all walks of life, with a range of skills and experience, to help create a Somerset rich in wildlife for everyone. We aim to make volunteering at Somerset Wildlife Trust a welcoming and rewarding experience, supporting volunteers with training and recognition. We advertise all the roles we are seeking to fill on our current Volunteer Opportunities page.
We cannot guarantee we will have a volunteer role available for everyone but there are so many other ways you can take action for nature in your community! Nature needs you. What you do at home, at your workplace and in your communities matters now more than ever, so we really need you on board for the journey - find out more about how you can help on our Team Wilder pages.
It’s good for my wellbeing… you get that sense of feeling good from being outside, but also feeling good from doing something that’s protecting the landscape that I love. It's giving something back, isn’t it, really?”
A great benefit is that you do meet a lot of interesting people that you wouldn’t otherwise ever have met and have a chat with them and you might find that you have a mutual interest - it’s nice to be sociable!SWT Volunteer
