Congratulations on your special day!

From birthdays and christenings, to weddings and anniversaries, to retirement or even Christmas. These are such memorable occasions, and what better way to celebrate than to give a little something back?

Asking for donations instead of gifts, cards or favours is an inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion. Whatever you’re celebrating, it can make a huge difference to Somerset wildlife.

What to do next

Once you’ve pledged your celebration, your next step is to choose how you’d like to raise funds. The celebrations that raise the most are those with several ways to fundraise.

Set up your online celebration fundraising page

Setting up a on online celebration fund through JustGiving only takes a few minutes and you can share the link with your friends and family via your invitations, place settings, social media and you can refer to it in any speeches. This makes it really easy for friends and family to donate to your celebration fund.

Set up your Facebook fundraiser

If you’re on Facebook, you may have seen people creating Facebook fundraisers, asking for donations to a cause for their birthday, Christmas or other special occasions, in lieu of gifts. Simply log into Facebook, create a fundraiser, and choose Somerset Wildlife Trust as your chosen charity.

Request your donation envelopes

Many people ask for donations to Somerset Wildlife Trust instead of gifts or cards. If this is something you’re considering, we can help you.

We can provide you with special donation envelopes for a collection on your big day and we can help you set up an online celebration page where people can donate online.

Please request your envelopes by clicking below.
