About the event

Sixty individual sculptures to mark Somerset Wildlife Trust's 60th Anniversary have been created from rescued and repurposed materials by local schools, communities and families, will be visible from a footpath or pavement along the trail route.

Join in and follow the Bugs & Grubs Trail to see how essential insects and molluscs are to the environment. They keep the soil healthy, recycle nutrients, pollinate flowers and crops and help control pests. 

QR codes with information on each creature's habitat, feeding and benefits will be attached to each sculpture, and a trail map showing where each is located is available. 

Find your most interesting insects, draw your favourite sculptures and win prizes!
