About the event

Rob Deaville from the Institute of Zoology and Andrew Baillie from the Natural History Museum are both involved in recording data on cetacean strandings across the UK. They will explain how we in Somerset can contribute, how to report strandings and what is done with the data - from collecting individuals for autopsy to tagging strandings. We will also look at how we can get together a group of local volunteers to further this work in Somerset and possibly organise further face to face training.
