Announcing the winners of our 60th anniversary photography competition!

2024 Photography Competition

The entries to this year's special 60th anniversary photography competition have been incredible, and we are delighted to announce and share the winners with you!

The competition attracted over 200 entries across three categories, featuring a wide selection of high-quality images taken all over Somerset by individuals from across the county. The judges were pleased to have a wonderful set of images to choose from and extend a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to enter their photographs.

Overall winner: Andy Lewington

We are pleased to announce that the overall winner this year is Andy Lewington for his mystical image of our Aller & Beer Woods Nature Reserve, which won the Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Reserves (18 years and over) category. Andy also bags himself the fantastic top prize of a private guided tour of our flagship Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve.
