About the event

This workshop is part of our Somerset's Wilder Coast Project. It is being run to support an outdoor session at Dunster Beach on 1st March (10am-2pm). This session will still be useful even if you can't attend this later 'on-site' session. There may be options to organise a bespoke 'on site' session on a different date/location.

This online session will be replicated at 4pm (if you can't attend at 6.30pm) OR repeated again on Tuesday 25th Feb at 4pm or 6.30pm (see separate event listings)

We will explore:

What barriers have attendees encountered when trying to enable learning to occur outdoors in natural environments?

Sharing of experiences attendees already have of leading sessions outdoors, with some reflection on what made them positive or negative experiences. How can  attendees empower each other with examples of good practice?

What skills and resources could Somerset Wildlife Trust provide to help enable learning outdoors such as transport, kit, risk assessments and wildlife ID?
