Bridgwater WATCH
About the event
MAKE SURE YOU BOOK YOUR PLACE for this new Somerset Wildlife Trust WATCH group meeting.
It plans to meet several times a year to encourage children from Bridgwater and surrounds to get involved in nature activities and to do their bit locally to look after their planet and its wildlife.
Each session will have a different theme. This one will focus on freshwater life in the streams and scrapes across the Meads EcoPark and will include searching for frog and toad spawn.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There will be things 'grown-ups' can get involved in too!!
This club has been set up with the support of Friends of the Meads, East Bridgwater Urban Wildlife Group, Friends of Wilstock and Stockmoor Country Park and other local green groups from across the town.
