2024 Photography Competition – now closed

Our 60th anniversary photo competition celebrating the wild places and wildlife of Somerset is now closed for entries. Thank you if you have submitted images! Six winners will be chosen (one from each age group for each category) and one overall winner will be chosen from those six. The winning images will be exhibited at our AGM in November.

The theme for the competition this year was 'Capturing Somerset', and we're excited to be offering an amazing overall prize of a private guided tour at Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve, plus six exclusive category prizes.

The competition open to all ages, is free to enter. There are three categories: Somerset’s Landscapes and Habitats, Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Reserves; Somerset’s Wildlife. Each category will have two age groups: 17 years and under; 18 years and over.

Prizes

There are six prizes to be won.

Each category winner will receive a year's free Somerset Wildlife Trust membership.

One overall winner will be chosen from the category winners to also receive the top prize of a private guided tour at Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve.

As well as the great prizes above, all six winners will be exhibited at our 60th AGM this November.
