About the event

Wildlife stories, wildlife art activities and wildlife fun, including minibeast quizzes and challenges (including the ‘Whose Poo?’ challenge!), bug hunts and lots more! Come and enjoy lots of hands-on fun, including a chance to use the iNaturalist app to record local minibeasts.

Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

This is one of a series of events organised by West Somerset Wildways: part of Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Wilder Communities initiative. West Somerset Wildways has two key aims: to enable people of all ages to engage with wildlife, and to support people in using the iNaturalist app to contribute to the digital map of the county’s nature. West Somerset Wildways is part of the Somerset’s Wilder Coast project, funded by the HPC Community Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund.

The indoor activities will take place in Williton Library, which is fully accessible. Bug hunts will take place in Williton Memorial Ground, TA4 4PG, a short walk along a quite lane from the library.

Paid parking is available at two car parks on Killick Road. There is some free roadside parking in Williton.
