About the event

We're thrilled to announce a hands on Introduction to Freshwater Invertebrates day course on Sunday July 14th at the beautiful Nettlecombe Court on the edge on Exmoor. Hosted by Field Studies Council you will also be joined by a hugely knowledgeable member of SWT staff on the day.

Participants should expect a mixture of practical riverside activity as well as theoritical classroom learning delivered by an expert FSC tutor.

We expect the day to run from c.10:00 - 17:00, so please ensure you're able to arrive at the site in good time. FSC have an overview of the course available on their website (link below), note we will be running a slightly adapted version of this course.

This day has been made available free of charge to Water Guardian volunteers and is offered to other SWT volunteers at the greatly reduced rate of £10.
