Membership & Fundraising Assistant

We are currently looking for a flexible volunteer to provide support to the Membership and Fundraising team.
Position details
Commitment:
ThursdayFrequency:
WeeklyVolunteers in this role will support the Membership and Fundraising Administrator in a range of administration tasks.
Tasks included in this role:
- Packaging and posting membership packs, adoption packs and shop orders
- Supporting with event prep and admin around central SWT events such as the AGM
- Supporting with postage and sorting of large mailings such as appeals

Skills and abilities needed:
We’re not looking for an expert, just someone with the right aptitude and skills to learn and make the most of this opportunity!
Ideally we’re looking for:
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills - a friendly and open approach to all members of the public and staff. We get a large number of enquiries covering a wide variety of topics.
- Computer literate – ideally familiar with Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel. Training will be provided for any specific programmes that you may be asked to use.
- Interest in wildlife and nature conservation
